The tour begins at approximately 9:00 AM from hotels located in Calafate. We head towards the majestic Los Glaciares National Park, located about 40 kilometers away. Our main destination is the imposing Perito Moreno Glacier, about 70 kilometers away, a natural wonder that dazzles with its beauty and unique behavior. The glacier's excellent location facing the Magallanes Peninsula makes it an easily accessible place to contemplate its grandeur and the fascinating natural phenomena that surround it. This tour focuses on visiting the walkways in front of the glacier, where you can explore them and find the best views of the glacier. During this full-day excursion, accompanied by a specialized bilingual guide, we will explore the history and unique characteristics of this spectacular glacier. Departing from your hotel in comfortable vehicles, we will travel along Provincial Route 11 until we reach the viewpoints overlooking the glacier. Once there, you'll have free time to explore the various boardwalks within the forest, which offer breathtaking panoramic views of the glacier and its calving. You can also enjoy lunch at the snack bar or restaurant and opt for an optional boat tour (not included) in front of the glacier. This excursion is ideal for spending the day in direct contact with nature, without requiring strenuous physical exertion.
